A visit to Simple Form
There are few things in this world that get me more excited than finding out one of your favourite online brands is opening a brand new bricks and mortar showroom! It's even more exciting when that store is Simple Form, the masters of all things monochrome.
Don't get me wrong, I love browsing online and filling my digital shopping cart with all sorts of bits and pieces (usually way out of my budget), but there's something considerably more special about physically checking into a store. Being able to appreciate the amazing visual merchandising, taking in the scent of a gorgeous candle or seeing the warm glow of a stylish lamp really does create THE experience of interacting with a brand.
Owned by the one and only Anne Nguyen, the new Simple Form showroom and store is situated in Seddon on Charles St. I'm not sure how I can put the store into actual words except that it's gorgeous. The front section is bright and beautifully arranged with a huge variety of homewares and furniture, whilst towards the back, you'll find a well stocked cushion and linen section, as well as cute toys and furnishings for the little ones. To keep things interesting, Anne is regularly rearranging and moving things around (the joys of running a homewares store), so you're almost guaranteed a different experience with every visit.
Anyway, enough of my rabble. I think most of you are more interested in checking out the photos I took on my last visit. Hope you enjoy and would 10/10 recommend checking it out for yourself!
